Let’s Go Play Today is an organization with the mission of making sports and the arts more accessible to our youth! The idea came to life when founder, Paige Tobin, decided to compete in the Miss Spokane’s Teen pageant. She needed a community service initiative that was special to her! With sports and the arts being at the center of her life, she knew she wanted to make sure every child had the opportunity to participate in these activities! Once she developed her community service initiative topic, it was time to come up with a name. During many conversations with her mom as they drove between dance rehearsals, she decided on “Let’s Go Play”. After Paige won Miss Spokane’s Teen, it was time to get started on the “Let’s Go Play” website. While creating the website she decided to rename her community service initiative to “Let’s Go Play Today!” to emphasis the critical nature athletics and arts are in a child’s life. Let’s Go Play Today focuses on providing a place to easily find artistic and sports opportunities for children, available scholarships, and equipment needed for each activity! We are even selling Let’s Go Play Today t-shirts! For every shirt sold, $11 will go to the Love 11 foundation, a local orginization which provides scholarships for children in the Spokane area.
